Pannecière is the largest lake in the Morvan. It is stocked with a verity of fish. Classified in the 2nd category, it belongs to private property and offers a multitude of spots that make it very suited for fish of prey. White fish of incredible dimensions are caught fishing the lake. You'll find hidden corners that are sometimes only accessible by boat.

In the municipal pond of Ouroux, there are numerous catches of white fish. In the summertime a fishing school opens its doors to teach the young children aged 6 and up how to catch their own fish.

Catching carps during the night

The lake of Pannecière disposes of some regions where you are allowed to fishing for carps at night. These regions are established each year.

The motor capacity is in any case limited to 6 CV.

A zone of 500 m upstream from the dam is prohibited for all access, as are its water-sides. Fishing is not allowed there.
